Our class has been learning about Endangered Animals and now we have created a Public Service Announcement to tell people about these animals.  Check out a few of our classmates talking to us about the animals they researched.

Today's Question of the Day:  Can a dolphin drown in the ocean?  We spent some time thinking about this question and writing in our journal.  Then we took a poll to see how everyone thought.  Our class was split about half and half, so then we decided to try and persuade our classmates who said no.  To do this we used facts we have learned about mammals. 

 

 

 

 

 

Today we started a new research project.  We are learning all about BATS!  We are using many resources to find our information.  Some of us used the computer, books, and even a video from Discovery Education.  Check back later this week to see our BAT display.

I'm so excited!  Today is a great day.  We have many fun activities planned and I can't wait to see what will happen next.  Be on the look out for some of our students to post about today's activities.

What a fantastic "Dae" we had in our classroom.  Our visitors from the Humane Society came and brought sweet Dae to visit with us.  They told us all about how to take care of her and we even got to spend a few minutes interacting with her.  Thank you Dae for coming to see us.

What a Great New Year!,

Hello all!

Our new year is well under way!  The students are having a great time getting to new friends and learning how to work together. We have many exciting activities planned for this year. Please continue to keep checking our blog for updates.
